I've had an interest in photography since childhood when I obtained my first Brownie camera by collecting cereal box tops. But I was unaware of my passion for other areas of art until I became an empty nester and had time for interests outside of my work as a pediatric audiologist. I continue to be challenged and delighted by my profession, but my enthusiasm for producing art has grown vividly as I've developed my skills first as a mosaic artist and now as a glass fuser. I have been fortunate to take classes from some of the best glass artists and teachers in the country. As I've added these skills to the spontaneous and child-like side of my own personality I have been amazed and pleased by the art that has developed. I hope others will have positive experiences viewing my designs as I tap into my "right brain".

I see the art experience as a process of opening myself to the world…seeing what I've never been able/allowed myself to see before…conveying my own internal experience to others through the art form.
