Texas Hill Country glass artist, Judy Millspaugh, uses her Spring Branch, Texas studio to create a rainbow of colorful cheeseboards and platters. Her passion for hand fusing glass began in 1999 in San Antonio, Texas where she co-owned an art gallery called GlassWorks, dedicated to fine glass art. Judy sold her own work and the work of over 150 other glass artists for six years. Over the years, she studied glass fusing with renowned artists such as Gil Reynolds in his studio in Oregon and Patty Gray at Wired Designs in San Antonio. Judy is a founding member of the San Antonio Glass Art Guild.

“I love the brilliant colors and heavy feel of the glass in my work. My studio is on acreage on the Guadalupe River with a view of the beautiful Texas Hill Country and my four Peruvian horses. I helped build the 92” x 82” kiln I use for my fused pieces, and love thinking of ideas to do my glass art in easier but more creative ways.”
